Body
WHEREAS, various County Departments have need for construction management at-risk (CMR) services to act as on-call management for construction projects on an as-needed basis; and,

WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals under the terms and conditions of Request for Qualifications No. 24-051 for CMR services; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twelve notifications were distributed and three responses were received and evaluated, from the following:

RAND Construction
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO


McCown Gordon
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract, with one twelve-month option to extend, for the furnishing of on-call construction management at risk services for various County Departments to McCown Gordon, of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate the County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of this award; and,
