Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended the establishment of two special accounts, one in the budget of the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fiscal Commission, and one in the budget of the Prosecuting Attorney, to be used for the sole purpose of providing matching funds to federal, stat , and private grants to local governmental and private programs serving the purposes of the investigation and prosecution of drug and drug-related offenses, and the incarceration, rehabilita ion, treatment, and judicial processing of adult and juvenile drug offenders; and,

WHEREAS, funds in these accounts would be available to provide matching fund for grants for programs administered by the Fiscal Commission and the Prosecuting Attorney; therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
