Body
WHEREAS, the County and Lyric Opera of Kansas City, desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay $10,000.00 to Lyric Opera of Kansas City, to be used for funding its OPERAtunity Fund program; and,
WHEREAS, this program will allow non-profit groups and economically disadvantaged individuals to attend opera performances; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
