Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Unified Development Code of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "LB" (Local Business) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District LB to District GB a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 1.3 ± acre tract of land generally located north of Missouri 7 Highway and west of Colbern Road and specifically described as beginning on west line of State Highway beginning 290 feet north and 30 feet west of SE Corner of SW NW, then north 195 feet, the west 290 feet then south 195 feet then east to point of beginning lying in the northwest quarter of Section 30, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri aka 9410 S. Missouri 7 Highway.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Charles Schmalz (RZ-2001-249), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 20, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
