Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15672, dated October 24, 2005, the County awarded a twelve-month term and supply contract for the furnishing of outgoing mail services for use by the Office Services Section of the Finance and Purchasing Department to Mail Solutions, Inc., of North Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 20-04, through an existing government of the Circuit Court of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing now recommends authorization to enter into three twelve-month extensions of this contract, commencing November 30, 2006, under the terms and conditions of Bid No. 20-04; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the authorization be granted as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the extensions; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and extensions, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
