Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a temporary construction easement for the widening of Colbern Road, Phase II Project; and,

WHEREAS, Aquila has agreed to convey the necessary temporary construction easement to the County as set forth in Exhibit "A"; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Public works recommends acceptance of the easement; and,

WHEREAS, the cost of the easement is for distribution rebuild of an electrical power sub-station and surplus for unexpected or additional expenses on the property around and adjacent to Aquila's Prairie Lee substation; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the aforementioned temporary construction easement, further described in the attached exhibit "A", be and hereby is accepted and that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $10,000.00 to Aquila Inc., in consideration for said easement.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
