A RESOLUTION authorizing the Manager of the Division of Finance to make a payment in the amount of $10,000.00 to the Inter City Fire Protection District to assist with its expenses.

Body
WHEREAS, the Inter City Fire Protection District has requested financial assistance from the County in the amount of $10,000.00 for the purchase of new hose for its fire truck and new bunker gear for its firefighters; and,
WHEREAS, the rendering of such assistance is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make a payment to the Inter City Fire Protection District, in the amount of $10,000.00.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
