WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for the furnishing of concessions at the Frank White and 140th and Holmes Softball Complex facilities; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twelve (12) solicitations were distributed and four (4) responses were received of which three (3) were "No Bids". The following bid was received:

J.E. Gross Concessions Monthly Concession Fee $4,500.00/month

Additional Lump Sum for $1,500.00
Three Baseball World Series

WHEREAS, this Request for Proposal is based upon the vendor paying a fee to the County for the operation of the concessions at the Frank White and 140th and Holmes Softball Complex facilities; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of concessions at Frank White and 140th and Holmes Softball Complex facilities for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 2-05 as the best bidder; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, and that the Purchasing Director be,...
