Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project, No. 2075-3, to acquire a right-of-way, permanent retaining wall easement, and temporary construction easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of Corinthian Mortgage Corp. and Dewey W. and Evelyn N. Clark, in the aggregate amount of $23,444.21, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way, permanent retaining wall easement, and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claims for damages, and have executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $23,444.21; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:
