Body
WHEREAS, the County has requested partial reimbursement of a project in an amount not to exceed $2,756,000.00 through the State of Missouri for the improvement of Woods Chapel Road between I-470 and Liggett Road; and,

WHEREAS, the County and the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission propose to enter into an Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the Missouri Department of Transportation will provide partial reimbursement of the project; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works Department recommends that the County Executive be authorized to execute the agreement as being in the best interest of the County and its residents; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County.



Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
