WHEREAS, the County has received a payment from Shelter Insurance Company representing the repair cost of a Sheriff's Office vehicle damaged as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on September 4, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the insurance payment in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used to repair the vehicle; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2013 Special Road and Bridge Fund be and hereby is made:
