A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract under Request for Proposals No. 22-06 for the furnishing of ACH and credit/debit processing for year-round online tax payments for use by the Collections Department to UMB Bank of Kansas City, MO, to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming twenty-four month period, with three twelve-month options to extend, at an estimated cost of $20,000.00 per year.

WHEREAS, the Collections Department has a need for ACH and debit/credit processing for year round online tax payments; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals for these services under RFP no. 22-06; and,
WHEREAS, she distributed a total of thirteen (13) solicitations and received six (6) responses, one (1) of which was "No Bid"; and,
WHEREAS, she has received as the lowest three (3) bids thereon the following:

and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to UMB Bank of Kansas City, MO, as the best responding bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
