Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 10-04 for the replacement of the anchorage system at Blue Springs Marina and the construction of a fish feeding station at the Longview Marina for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only bid thereon, a bid from the following:
BIDDER BID

Galva Foam Marine Ind. Anchorage System $68,622.00
Camdenton, MO Blue Springs Marina

Fish Feeding Station $17,776.00
Longview Marina

Total $86,398.00

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Galva Foam Marine Ind. of Camdenton, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
