Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 64-95 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of title searches for use by the Collection Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

VENDOR
Chicago Title Insurance
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Old Republic Title Co.
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Coffelt Land Title, Inc.
Lee's Summit, MO

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Chicago Title Insurance of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set orth in the attached recapitulation; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson C...
