Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for the furnishing of emergency sewer repair service and public and storm sewer and culvert clean out for various County departments; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends an award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to Ace Pipe Cleaning Inc., of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200561 as the best and lowest bidder; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-one (21) solicitations were distributed and one (1) response was received as follows:
BIDDERS PRICE
Ace Pipe Cleaning Inc., $125.00 per hour
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended by the Director of Purchasing , and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
