Body
WHEREAS, Milton Achelphol recently graduated fourth in his class of 156 at Lincoln Prep High School; and,
WHEREAS, Milton graduated with a 4.38 GPA on a 4.0 scale and earned a score of 33 on the ACT test; and,
WHEREAS, during high school, Milton was a member of the National Honor Society, an International Baccalaureate student, and Senior Class President; and,
WHEREAS, Milton earned the designation of first chair on the alto saxophone in Missouri State Band; and,
WHEREAS, Milton plans to attend the Stanford University in the fall and aspires to be an engineer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Milton Achelphol on his recent graduation from Lincoln Prep High School and on his acceptance into Stanford University.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
