Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11945, dated November 10, 1997, enter into a contract with Garrett Real Estate of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of appraisal services for use by the Collection Department in the actual amount of $2,288.00; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary to cover the cost of attending a tax sale hearing on February 20, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, this increase will not exceed $150.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute any necessary documents on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract as increased.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
