Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 14708, dated September 9, 2003, the Legislature approved a term and supply contract with Truman Medical Center of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of X-ray services for use by the Medical Examiner's Office, at an estimated cost to the County of $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase this contract in the amount of $40,000.00 due to a higher volume of usage than originally estimated; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
