Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19105, dated March 21, 2016, the Legislature did authorize a Cooperative Agreement with the Crittenton Center to provide anti-drug and anti-violent crime prevention services during 2016, at a cost to the County in the amount of $40,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, inadvertently $2,104.74 of 2016 Anti-Drug Sales Tax funds allocated to the agency in 2016 was not reimbursed prior to closing out the agency's 2016 Cooperative Agreement in the County's finance system; and,
WHEREAS, the COMBAT staff requests that these funds be reappropriated to provide reimbursement to Crittenton Center for services it rendered in 2016 pursuant to its contract; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place funds for this reimbursement in the appropriate spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
