Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 12260, dated June 23, 1998, enter into a contract with Wiedenmann and Godfrey of Belton, MO, in the amount of $428,466.00, for the 1998 Culvert Replacements -- Phase III Project, No. 2375; and,
WHEREAS, all work contemplated by the original contract has been completed and is fully acceptable to the County and final payment on the contract in the amount of $2,000.00 is now due, and a decrease of $7,335.95 in the contract amount is necessary; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make final payment on the contract, and to release the remaining encumbrance on the contract balance of $7,335.95. Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
