Body
WHEREAS, the Art in the Loop Foundation is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to commission works of art to be displayed at locations within the downtown loop of Kansas City, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, the County owns real property commonly known as Oppenstein Park, which is located at 12th and Walnut in the City of Kansas City; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature acknowledges the benefits to the Jackson County and Kansas City communities of commissioning, installing, and maintain original artwork to be displayed at Oppenstein Park; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a License and Professional Services Agreement with the Art in the Loop Foundation, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, at no cost to the County.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
