WHEREAS, by Resolution 10290, dated April 18, 1994, the Legislature authorized the disposal of one 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity 4-door Sedan, VIN IGIAW5188K6218578, which was involved in a collision on March 2, 1994, and was appraised as a total loss; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 10290, the County Purchasing Director declared this property surplus and recommended that said vehicle be delivered to Farmers Insurance in exchange for a draft in the amount of $5,275.00 from Farmers Insurance Group, as part of a claim settlement in this matter; an ,
WHEREAS, the amount indicated in Resolution 10290 was erroneously stated and is now correctly stated to read that said vehicle shall be delivered to Farmers Insurance Group in exchange for a d aft in the amount of $3,765.00 from Farmers Insurance Group, as part of a claim settlement in this matter; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of one 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity 4-door Sedan, VIN IGIAW5188K6218578 as surplus property, and deliver to Farmers Insurance Group, as part of a claim settlement in exchange for a draft in the amount of $3,765.00, payable to Jackson County, MO.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
