Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 21144, dated January 17, 2023, Q. Troy Thomas was appointed to be Legislative Auditor for Jackson County, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature has decided to reappoint Q. Troy Thomas as Legislative Auditor for a term to expire on December 31, 2028; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas is well-qualified for this appointment, having served under five County Executives and having previously served as the CFO of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas will be paid an annual salary of $156,728.00, which is the current rate for the office; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Legislature hereby appoints Q. Troy Thomas as Legislative Auditor, for a term to expire on December 31, 2028.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
