Body
WHEREAS, Women’s History Month recognizes the leadership, accomplishments, and impact of women who strengthen their communities; and,
WHEREAS, Cathleen “Katie” Lillis was born to T. Michael and Janet Tucker Lillis in Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, she hails from a close-knit Irish Catholic family; and,
WHEREAS, her siblings include John Michael, Tim, Carol, and Sheila Lillis; and,
WHEREAS, she currently serves as Jackson County Committeewoman of the 9th Ward and community political leader; and,
WHEREAS, her strong Irish and Catholic faith has made her a community leader of the greater Kansas City area; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Jackson County Legislature recognizes Cathleen “Katie” Lillis on her many accomplishments during Women’s Month.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
