Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 62-98 for the furnishing of a skid-a-mixer and tiller for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

KC Bobcat, Inc. $6,302.50
Blue Springs, MO
Halco $6,490.44
Kansas City, KS
Harrisonville Tractor $7,150.00
Harrisonville, MO
and,
WHEREAS, due to interoperability concerns, the Parks and Recreation Department has recommended that both pieces or equipment be manufactured by the same firm; and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to KC Bobcat, Incorporated, of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid meeting the Parks and Recreation Department's requirements; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
