Body
WHEREAS, the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center has submitted an outside agency funding request to initiate a volunteer program to provide outreach services to a medically vulnerable community; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of a Cooperative Agreement with Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center for its volunteer program is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2007 Health Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement with the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
