AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 12, Jackson County Code, 1984, to create one new section to be known as 1206.3, relating to records retention and open records for the purpose of establishing a fee schedule for use by the Geographic Information Systems Department for reproductions of its mapping documents.

Body
WHEREAS, Chapter 12, Jackson County Code, 1984, covers the assessment and establishment of copying, duplication, and reproduction fees; and,
WHEREAS, Section 1206.2 permits the County to set fees based on estimates of fair and reasonable costs; and,
WHEREAS, the Geographic Information Systems Department ("GIS") desires to establish a fee schedule for the duplication and reproduction of its aerial photo parcel map documents; and,
WHEREAS, a study was completed, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to document those costs as well as review the costs of similar products at other counties across Missouri; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
Section A: Enacting Clause
Section 1206.3, Jackson County Code, 1984 is hereby enacted as follows:
1206.3 Geographic Information Systems Department Fee Schedule.
In addition to all other fees authorized by law, the GIS Department shall use the following fee schedule for the reproduction of its parcel maps with aerial photos:
