Body
WHEREAS, Thanh Bui recently graduated as the salutatorian of Northeast High School; and,
WHEREAS, Thanh graduated with a 3.898 GPA on a 4.0 scale; and,
WHEREAS, during high school, Thanh was involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, Earth Club, Robotics Club, the KCP&L Future Force Club, and was a tutor in Trigonometry; and,
WHEREAS, Thanh has received the Superintendent's Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Thanh plans to attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City in the fall and major in mechanical engineering; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Thanh Bui on his designation as salutatorian of Northeast High School.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
