WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to fully restore Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) funding to its 2003 level; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation as an amendment to her proposed 2004 Jackson County budget; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
