Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for the furnishing of concessions at the Frank White and 140th and Holmes Softball Complexes; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written proposals for these services under RFP 1-06; and,

WHEREAS, she distributed a total of twelve (12) solicitations and received four (4) responses two (2) of which were "No Bids"; and,

WHEREAS, the responses received were as follows:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE PAYABLE TO THE COUNTY

J.E. Gross Concessions $5,250.00
Blue Springs, MO

Heartland Sports Concessions $4,050.00
Lee's Summit, MO

and,


WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to J.E. Gross Concessions of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the highest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
