BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "GB" general business district and the "LI" light industrial-planned zoning district so that there will be transferred from District GB to District LI a tract of land described as follows:
Legal Description: A 2.1 ñ acre lot generally located near the southwest corner of Missouri 7 Highway and Wyatt Road and specifically described as Lot 6, Meadow Run Subdivision lying in the northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri. Lots 7, 8, and 9 within Meadow Run, a subdivision in the NW ¬ of the NW ¬ of Section 19, Township 48, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Steve Ross (RZ-99-161) requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 16, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the County Executive.
