WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has surplus county personal property, as described below, that has become excess to the County's needs:

One (1) Model Year 2001 Harley Davidson Road King Motorcycle, Model FLHPI, 1HD1FHW131Y640240
One (1) Model Year 2001 Harley Davidson Road King Motorcycle, Model FLHPI, 1HD1FHW161Y638918
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to §1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of said property by way of trade-in on new 2002 model motorcycles; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above-described personal property is declared surplus and that the Purchasing Director hereby authorized to dispose of the property by way of trade-in.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
