Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200213 for the furnishing five 24' pontoon boats and three 18' pontoon boats for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Play Craft Boats of Richland, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Play Craft Boats of Richland, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
