BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section A. Enacting Clause. Section 822., Jackson County Code, 1984, is hereby enacted, to read as follows:
822. Investment Firms, Contracts Authorized.
The Personnel Director may contact with one or more investment firms for the administration of the Plan and the investment of the Employees' Deferred Compensation Account, or a portion thereof, and may by such contracts establish separate deferred compensation plans with such firms, which separate plans shall be consistent with the provisions of this chapter and the regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Service.

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
