BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" agricultural district and the "LI" (light industrial zoning district) so that there will be transferred from District A to District LI a tract of land described as follows:
All that part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 49, Range 31, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 34, said point being South 1 56'26" West, 303.82 feet South of the South line of Lake Tapawingo, a subdivision in said Jackson County; Thence South 88 09'00" East, 30.00 feet; Thence South 1 56'26" West and parallel with the West line of said East 1/2, 226.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continuing South 1 56'26" West, 139.43 feet; Thence South 1 38'45" West, 289.40 feet to a point on the Northerly Right of Way Line of U.S. Highway NO. 40, (30.00 feet from the center line thereof); Thence South 40 13'51" East along said Right of Way Line, 847.09 feet a point of curve; Thence Southeasterly along a curve to the Left having a Radius of 1116.13 feet and tangent to the last described course, 100.37 feet; Thence North 7 23'07" East, 1045.25 feet; Thence North 81 19'36" West, 745.13 feet to THE POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 12.121 Acres.
