Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources accepts applications made under the National Recreational Trails Program for a grant-in-aid of 50 percent of the total cost of such projects; and,
WHEREAS, the County has submitted an application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to obtain a grant under the Landmark Local Parks Program for funds to renovate facilities at the Longview Horse Park; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature supports the submission of a grant application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in connection with the Landmark Local Parks Program for funds to renovate facilities at the Longview Horse Park.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
