Body
WHEREAS, for forty years, Millie and Stephen Nottingham have shared a strong marriage built on love, support, and commitment to one another; and,
WHEREAS, Millie and Stephen have also made meaningful contributions to Kansas City through their drive and ambitions, making names for themselves in their careers and community; and,
WHEREAS, their dedication to both their family and the arts has had a lasting impact on those around them; and,
WHEREAS, their story is an example of the value of hard work, partnership, and giving back to the community; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Jackson County Legislature congratulates Millie and Stephen on this special milestone and thanks them for all they have contributed to the Kansas City area and we wish them many more years of happiness, good health, and cherished memories.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
