RESOLUTION NO. 22039, September 22, 2025

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has a need for a John Deere RC7M Rotary Cutter, John Deere 5105M Utility Tractor, and two John Deere Z997R Diesel Mowers to maintain grounds; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the purchase of the needed rotary cutter, utility tractor, and two mowers from Van Wall Equipment of Lenexa, KS, under the terms and conditions of Sourcewell Ag Tractors Contract No. 082923-DAC and Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance Contract No. 112624-DAC, existing competitively bid government contracts; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
