BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
A 10ñ acre tract of land generally located at the northwest corner of Mackey and Riner Road and more specifically described as a part of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 2, Township 49, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri: Beginning at a point on the east line of the said Quarter-Quarter Section, 466.7 feet north of the southeast corner thereof; thence North 33 feet; thence West 1,312 feet more or less to the west line of the said Quarter-Quarter section, thence south 499.83 feet; thence east 845 feet; thence North 466.83 feet; thence east 466.8 feet to the point of beginning, aka 32900 E. Mackey Road.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Freddie Bellany (RZ-96-047), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 21, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
