Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 36-95 for the furnishing of personal water craft for use by the Parks and Recreation Department for rental by the department's patrons; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Shrout Suzuki of Blue Springs, MO, at 35% of the gross rental revenues to Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Shrout Suzuki, Inc., of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the highest and best bid; therefor ,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
