Body
WHEREAS, the City of Levasy, Missouri, has requested the use of $794.70 from its CURS refund account to cover costs of the City's 2001 street repair program; and,

WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the street and road maintenance project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Levasy and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $794.70 to the City of Levasy for use in the City's 2001 street repair program.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
