Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 99-99 for the furnishing of one tire service truck for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only bid thereon a bid from KCR International Trucks, Inc., of Kansas City (Clay County), MO; and,

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has recommended that the following equipment, which is excess to the needs of the department, be utilized as trade-ins on the new truck:

One (1) 1981 IHC Dump Truck, County Number 2332 $1,325.00

One (1) 1982 IHC S1700 Dump Truck, County Number 2303 $1,325.00

One (1) 1981 IHC S1800 Dump Truck, County Number 2330 $1,325.00


and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to 1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has determined that the equipment is obsolete and unusable and has requested that he be authorized to dispose of these trucks by way of trade-in; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing trucks be and hereby are declared...
