Body
WHEREAS, the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission (KCMCC) has awarded a grant to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in the amount of $16,000.00, for its Project Safe Neighborhoods program, which the County will use to partially fund one full-time prosecutor to assist in the prosecution of federal and/or state criminal charges related to drug-related firearms crimes; and,

WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a local match in the amount of $31,008.00; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary to place the matching and grant funds in the proper spending accounts; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer and appropriation be and hereby are made:
