Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located at the southwest corner of Little Road and Borgman Road and more specifically described as: A Tract of land being located in the North ½ of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 6, Township 49 North, Range 29 West of the 5th P.M., Jackson County, Missouri being described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of said North ½, Southwest 1/4; thence S00°44'50"E along the East line of said North ½, Southwest 1/4, a distance of 667.27 feet; thence S89°58'43W, 660.45 feet; thence N00°44'50"W, 667.52 feet to the North line of said North ½, Southwest 1/4; thence S90°00'00"E along said North Line, a distance of 660.45 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 10.12 Acres, Subject to Road Right of Ways and Easements (Public and Private) as may now be located.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jason Zearley (RZ-2001-258), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 15, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
