Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 11876, dated September 2, 1997, enter into a contract with Blue Hills Homes Corporation of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $57,874.74, for the construction of a maintenance building addition at Adair Park; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary for the installation of electrical service to serve the existing maintenance facility and the new extension, as required by Independence Power and Light, and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $3,000.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the County Executive is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
