A RESOLUTION awarding a contract and authorizing the County Executive to execute an Agreement for service as Historic Preservation Manager for the County's Jane Fifield Flynn Historic Resource Commission, to Sally Schwenk Associates of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of Request for Qualifications No. 30-06, at an annual cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written proposals on RFQ No. 30-06 for service in the position of Historic Preservation Manager for the County's Jane Fifield Flynn Historic Resource Commission; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifty-one solicitations were distributed and seven responses were received, four of which were no bids, with responses from the following ultimately evaluated;

Kansas City, Missouri
CitySearch Preservation
Kansas City, Missouri
Cultural Exploration
Kansas City, Missouri
and,
WHEREAS, the Historic Resource Commission recommends award to Sally Schwenk Associates of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the best overall qualifications; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that award be made as recommended by the Historic Resources Commission and the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Sally Schwenk Associates for service as Historic Preservation Manager, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, at an annual cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
