INTRODUCED BY Mary Lou Smith, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 9771, dated May 24, 1993, enter into a contract with Barber & Sons Aggregates of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $339,934.10 for the furnishing of crushed rock for use by the Public works Department; and,

WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary due to a higher than expected usage, and this increase will not exceed $35,000.00; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the necessa y documents on behalf of the County; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
