BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 3.14 ± acre tract located 4/10 of a mile west of Owens School Road on the south side of Flynn Road and described as:

ALL THAT PART OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 49, RANGE 30 IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST QUARTER, SAID POINT BEING S80?14'32"E, ALONG THE NORTH LINE, 500.00 FEET (DEEDED AND MEASURED), FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SE 1/4; THENCE S80?14'32"E, CONTINUING ALONG SAID LINE, 180.00 FEET; THENCE S09?46'28"W, 50.00 FEET; THENCE S54?46'32"W, 197.99 FEET; THENCE S09?46'28"W, 297.03 FEET; THENCE S49?45'50"E, 185.63 FEET; THENCE S09?46'28"W, 445.92 FEET; THENCE N80?22'41"W, 200.00 FEET; THENCE N09?46'28"E, 1027.54 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, EXCEPT THAT PART IN FLYNN ROAD. CONTAINING 3.141 ACRES MORE OR LESS.

The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Christina Alley (RZ-2003-296), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a vote of 6 to 1, recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on March 20, 2003, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative powe...
