Body
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments have a need for International Truck parts and service for department vehicles; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing has determined that due to higher volume discounts offered to larger entities, he recommends the award be made under the following contract:

KCR International Truck, Inc., City of Kansas City, MO
Kansas City, MO Contract No. PA4415

and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1040.04 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to KCR International Truck, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriations; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Purchasing , and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to...
