WHEREAS, the Drug Task Force has received a supplemental grant from the U.S. Department of Justice; and,

WHEREAS, the grants proceeds will be used to purchase radios, cameras, and ballistic trauma kits; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the fund balance of the 2008 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
